About me
I am a qualified teacher with over 20 years experience of supporting children with a wide range of Special Educational Needs. Having worked as a SENCo for 17 years, I have considerable experience of navigating the system both as a professional and more recently as a parent, making me ideally placed to support you in getting the very best outcomes for your child.
Advice and Support
Tap into my knowledge and expertise and get advice on a wide area of needs. EHCP applications, understanding professional reports, researching school choices, finding specialists, Autism and ADHD advice. I will work with you to help you navigate the system and get the right support in place for your child.
Assessments
Is your child struggling with learning? Do you want to know how best to support them? I use a wide range of standardised assessment activities to explore a child’s unique strengths and difficulties and provide detailed recommendations for how to help them to progress. Follow-up tutoring also available.
Home Education
Are you new to home educating and wondering where to start? Is your child struggling to learn and you aren’t sure why? Whether you are concerned about learning difficulties or just keen to know what your child can and can’t do, I will work with you to put together a plan for their next steps.
Schools
I work across Early Years, KS1 and KS2 to support staff in better understanding the needs of individual pupils and equipping them with the strategies and resources they need. Observations, assessments, delivering intervention programmes and attending meetings.
